Just imagine for a moment that you can read minds and you were able to predict the stock of a music company and you could make all the money in the world. How valuable would this be to you?
If the world knew that you could predict what was going to happening next could you imagine who would be coming to your house to ask you what the future is?
....The President
...........Your Favorite Movie Star
............Shaquille O'Neal (retired now?)
...............The Smartest Man In The World
Think about it the possibilities are endless!
We'll today I am here to tell you that the same concept can apply to music?
You actually have the power to predict what goes on in a song? This concept works on chord progressions. Very effectively
There are times where you will be wrong but the one thing that doesn't change in music is the basic blueprint.
When you become a mindreader in music here's what can happen to you?
-Musician's will be asking you to share the knowledge
-You will gain more confidence in your playing..
-You'll have a wealth of knowledge about music
In short, I am here to encourage you to become a musical mind reader by learning the learning your chord progressions. Then you will be able to predict patterns.
A good example is where does the 2 chord lead into?
The answers are: It can lead in to the 6th chord or the 5 chord depending on the song.
Here's another one: If the melody is a “B”, than the chord is G.
Why? Because “B” is in the G chord, G-B-D
