This Week's Music School: Ditone & Suspended Chords

Greetings Fellow Readers,

Today is February 21,2011 and for today's music school we are going to be talking a little bit about the suspended chord or in others words the Ditone. We discussed a little bit about the Ditone and the suspended chord in a previous post. Here is the link: This Week's Music School: Ditone

Here is just a quick recap:
First off the ditone a.k.a di which means two is formed with a two note chord on the left hand and a suspended chord on the right.

Here is just a quick video showcasing the ditone and suspended chord in action

Essentially, in this video it's in the Key of C and it is formed the following way:

Left Hand/Right Hand
C-E/A-D-G

This chord is used primary as a one chord and is alot better than playing the regular C chord which is in the 3rd inversion of G-C-E.

I hear you readers so what I am going to do is breakdown all of the ditone chords with the suspendeds attached so that you can be able to use these chords immediately in all twelve keys.

If you would like the list of all the ditones in all twelve keys send us an email at via the Contact button and we will be happy to send you the ditones list.
