Spice Up Your Playing WIth This Post

This post is for all the musicians out there who are looking to spice up there playing. When I mean spice up your playing this will definately give you some looks on a Sunday Service. People will be saying " What did you just play?" and "Can you teach me this?"

Now these chords are rated P for "Phat".
Warning: THIS CHORDS MUST ONLY BE USED WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING THE PROGRESSION 7-3-6

The Key will be in Ab

We will be focusing on the 7-3-6

Before we get to that lets just take a look at the Ab major scale

Ab Bb C Db Eb F G Ab
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

In the Key of Ab
The 7th note would be the G
The 3rd note would be the C
The 6th note would be the F

This progession features "Tritones"
We will be breaking this down in a future post

Here are the chords:

1st Chords to be played on the 7 (which is the G)

Left Hand: F/B
Right Hand: F Bb Db or E A Db (Either one works)

2nd Chord to be played on the 3 (which is the C)

Left Hand: E/Bb
Right Hand:Eb Ab C (which is a Ab major chord 3rd inversion)

3rd Chord to be played on the 6 (which is the F)

Left Hand: F C
Right Hand: G Ab C Eb

Or an alternate version for the 6

Left Hand: Eb G Ab C
Right Hand: Eb G C

or you can switch the right hand for this and play an Eb major chord in any inversion

Here it is:
Eb Major: Eb G Bb
Eb Major Inversion 1: G Bb Eb
Eb Major Inversion 2: Bb Eb G

Ok, I will share some more with you all

For the 1st chord which is the G chord (which is the 7)
Here is an alternate version

Left Hand: G F
Right Hand: Bb F A C

Heres another alternate for the 3 (which is the C)

Left Hand: E
Right Hand:Bb Db Gb ( Raise the Gb to a G to give it the off colour feeling)
