Everyone has a passion and with that passion you have something that you are interested in. This maybe music, food, stickers, finding antiques for example. Whatever your passion is you can make a living off of it. I love music and this is the reason why I love to share about this. I want to help others that are out there find their passion may it be through music or not. Here are just 2 simple ideas that can help you make a living through music.
1)Become a studio musician
Believe it or not, there are people out there who have made a decent living off of being a studio musician. It takes a lot of hard work and the right networking however it can be done. You need to make sure that the skills you have meet the expectations of the people you are trying to impress.
2)Music Production
This is a very unique avenue to take because a lot of musicians are trying to cash in on this unique market. You can be great at playing the drums but do you know how to produce, mix and master your music so that you can meet the needs of your client. These are skills that you can definately learn through time but it takes time, and effort to make that dream turn into a reality. With the internet you can make this become possible.
3) Become a Freelance Musician
Keep in mind that if you are just getting started it will take a while. You need to be able to perfect your craft whether it is singing, or playing music. Today's society has high expectations and you want to be able to meet those expectation and not just be all talk. It's important that you take your time. Be committed and you can succeed!
Here are just some ideas on how to make a living while doing what you love. You need to find out what you like doing. No matter what, there is a job for everyone whether it's music, business, painting, drawing (anything). Take advantage of every opportunity that comes you way. Most importantly, have fun because this is what will make your job be more interesting.
