This was definitely one of the gifts that was on the music list for sure. Many of our readers have been asking us for piano books. We looked across the web to find what we considered as the best book for learning how to play piano.
This is by one of our favourite authors Jermaine Griggs who owns Hear and Play. We chose this book because of the diverse material in the book. It really goes into deep detail with many different examples of chords and scales. What we found to capture our interest was the concepts were easily transferable immediately.
This is great for a beginner who is just learning how to play piano or for a musician who wants hum a tune and immediately play that tune on the piano. Our team thought that there is not much help out there for learning how to play piano but this book definitely exceeds our expectations of quality and teach-ability.
